Founded in 1998 as the National Network of Latin American Students, the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) is dedicated to uniting and empowering medical students. Our mission is to serve, mentor, and educate while advocating for the health of the Hispanic/Latino community in the United States.

LMSA boasts a strong presence across all five regions: Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and West. With over 150 chapters and more than 2,000 premedical and medical students, our organization welcomes anyone interested in learning about our work and our commitment to improving healthcare for all.
